Senior Manager, Aviation Security
Current• Responsible for physical security of the site, while ensuring all aspects of regulatory compliance are adhered to as outlined by TSA under an EAA• Ensure compliance with established security policies and procedures as well as develop and improve processes to ensure operational integrity• Create, establish, and verify compliance with security procedures, regulatory standards, physical security design standards, policies and utilize Security Management Systems processes for risk mitigation where the strategy may not be defined• Support site teams, develop new security standards and evaluate existing security standards by establishing workflows, Service Level Agreements, operational excellence mechanisms, and ensure customer outcomes are auditable, decisions are data-driven, and work quality is measurable• Investigate theft and workplace incidents as well as regulatory violations and partner on corrective action to mitigate risks• Establish and maintain relationships with the Airport Security Directors, Local TSA Federal Security Directors, as well as local Federal Law Enforcement, Local Municipal first responders• Lead Aviation Security Managers, Specialists through continual leadership development by hiring and developing the best and measuring team performance through objectives and key performance indicators• Lead third party security provider that maintains security throughout the footprint of the facility• Support operation programs with understanding, implementing, and validating security requirements, to ensure employees, third party vendors, visitors, and assets (people, property, and data) are secure and that the organization is prepared to respond to various security related emergencies• Create strategic programs designed to enhance loss mitigation efforts with cargo due to internal/external theft• Support crisis management planning and emergency response for Amazon Air, both third party and Amazon owned assets
