I have done developmental and structural edits for two (2) full-length published books, 10 short stories, and two (2) workbooks. For each of these, I identified and corrected structural issues regarding chapter length, narrative flow, and orderly presentation of main concepts.Tim also consulted me for help developing a survey to assess the quality and impact of the thought streams in your head that meditators call the monkey mind or Monkey. This survey is part of his 12-Week Challenge for learning how to work with your Monkey and using it to improve your performance and create the life you want. The survey contains 42 statements about your relationship with your monkey mind that you score according to your level of agreement with each statement. At the end of the survey, you add up your scores to quantify the quality of your relationship with your Monkey.He ran into some difficulty uploading his first book onto Kindle so I implemented a document cleanup process to troubleshoot and resolve formatting errors. My cleanup process streamlined the upload of his completed manuscripts from Word into Kindle and eliminated 100% of initial formatting errors.

As a freelance editor, writer, and researcher, I take a problem-solving approach unique to every client. Her lawyer's number had been disconnected. I found those documents and had the Spanish government authenticate them so she could prove her creditworthiness for an $800K loan to open a restaurant in the Canary Islands. She owns Que Leche, a restaurant that received a Bib Gourmand award in 2021.Another client, a truck driver, wanted to open his own trucking business and applied for $110K SBA loan. But his loan application had incomplete financial information and his business plan was missing some important sections. I helped him with the financials and added an Operations setion and a SWOT analysis to his business plan. He now has his own trucking business and had to hire several drivers.Sending your child to a prestigious high school is much more involved than simply paying the tuition; parents have to write personal essays that ask difficult questions about their values and how they incorporate diversity in their lives. Many parents don't know how to answer these questions and that's where my expertise provides value. I coach them to find answers and write their personal essays. My acceptance rate is 100%, all the children get into at least three schools.A business owner who ran cooking classes for corporate retreats and team building needed to increase revenue but did not have the budget to hire a marketing firm. She hired me to create a list of 5,000 local area businesses to generate leads. I targeted mid-sized real estate firms, consulting firms, and law firms that might be interested in her services. That list generated $10,000 of additional revenue for her in three months.
