As a kid, I was the oldest of my dozen+ cousins, and I would coordinate everyone’s outfits and get them all to put on a show at Christmas. In high school, I rose quickly to the rank of editor-in-chief of the school newspaper, completely comfortable overseeing an entire staff and weekly production at 17. When I’m at my best, you’ll still likely find me leading a team to produce a creative product. In those early years, I learned a lot about how to get work done on deadline and on budget, how to manage challenging creative personalities (be they cousins or the editorial page editor), and how totally worth it, it is to pay attention to every single detail even if other people might not agree. At Berkeley, I majored in Pop Culture. After I graduated I moved to San Francisco, looked around, and wondered what the heck I was going to do for a career. One day I answered a job ad that proceeded to open the doors to a career in advertising and marketing where every single day since, I’ve spent coordinating “outfits” galore and managing many a creative personality. Me at my best.Lately, you’ll find me leading a cross-functional team tasked with delivering integrated cross-channel programs to support the client transition from TD Ameritrade over to Schwab. I oversee our transitioning client website, public site communications, and year one new client experience.I also love to mentor and coach others. It’s one of my favorite things to do — especially, when I see something in someone that they don’t see in themself. I’d like to keep doing more of that.
