Instructor of the First Year Directions course for incoming freshman at the University of Miami. This course is intended to equip students with the skills needed to transition into the academic community and promote the attitudes needed to be successful in their higher education journey at the University of Miami.

•Co-advisor for the Student Activity Fee Allocation Committee (SAFAC) where I oversee the distribution of a $2 million allocation •Co-advisor for Graduate Activity Fee Allocation Committee ($60,000 budget allocation)•Co-advisor to the Late Night Programming Grant ($30,000 budget allocation)•Support students as co-advisor during committee hearings and facilitate escalated inquiries by advisors•Manage a finance team consisting of three financial interns and the senior financial assistant position•Serve as a resource for all inquiries related to finances for organizations •Work with budget department to address financial needs for Student Activities and Student Organizations department•Lead finance team and interns in optimizing processes and procedures•Develop and perform financial workshops to train advisors for students organizations on financial responsibilities pertaining to areas such as purchasing, auditory compliance and Workday processes

Responsible for reviewing reports and performing accounts payable related tasks designed to maintain the integrity of the established accounts payable policies and protocols, including ensuring timely processing of expense reports, purchases orders and ad hoc payments.

Account manager responsible for providing banking, lending and investment services by analyzing relevant income and tax documents and providing financial guidance based on current FDIC regulations. In addition, I was responsible for supervising the accounts of various private clientele by monitoring for possible fraudulent activity, reviewing balance reports and approving transactions according to bank protocol.
