Hi everyone! I have finished my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering in NUS and starting my full time career as a Project Engineer in G-Energy. I am passionate in the field of sustainability and looking into energy efficient solutions for buildings.I had an internship regarding semiconductor etching in SSMC for 6 months to learn more about different engineering sectors. Currently I am undergoing an external project that involves F&N and Warburg to launch a vending machine which aims for sustainability. This will take off in end of September where pilot tests will be made and I am deeply involved in helping to design the vending machine we need, based on knowledge learnt in Heat Exchange and Fluid Dynamics from my university journey. I am also exposed to using CAD to simulate my 3D model design, currently working on it to improve and attain feedback. I had my Final Year Project as well in Automating Mask Fitting procedures for SCDF, which enhanced my prototyping and coding skills. Throughout the whole process, I became passionate in climate change and sustainability. Both hard and soft skills along the way benefitted my understanding in the engineering field and how it accommodates clients’ needs for energy efficiency. This includes the Green Mark and standards required such as for AHU, Chillers and Cooling towers. I understand the whole ACMV system in improving the Total System Efficiency. I have basic understanding about fans, pumps, boilers, CHP as well. These knowledge help me understand the building design industry, the relevant standards for buildings and provide solutions for clients. This helps me build my foundation professionally in engineering and consultancy for the built environment.
