As Construction Manager, I direct all aspects of the day to day efforts of residential and lightconstruction development for the company including estimating, scheduling, bidding, contractnegotiations, sub-contractor selection, project budgeting, code compliance, coordination with cityand building officials, and customer service.Some of my key accomplishments are listed below:*Manage crews of up to 30 trade personnel in the design, development, and construction ofresidential and light construction products. *Develop and implement strategic operational and business processes by streamlining theschematic, design, development, and construction document phases that increase efficiencies,streamline construction processes, ensure quality builds, and ultimately improve revenues.*Direct various projects ranging in cost from $5k to $400k including procurement and purchasingprocesses, scheduling, costing, and sub-contractor selection resulting in projects which arecompleted within allotted timeframes and at or below budgeted parameters.*Successfully completed total rehabilitation of 19th century row house including hand excavationand underpinning for addition of habitable basement living. Identified and remedied structuralproblems. *Recruited, interviewed, and on-boarded 15 full-time contractors as well as dozens of sub-contractors and trades to execute projects. Provided coaching and mentoring that improvedperformance and mitigated risk. *Achieved savings of up to 10% using comparable yet more affordable materials integrating up-cycled and sustainable products in the design of the project.
