As a co-founder of Queer Hmong Intersectional Pride and community organizer with Hmong Innovating Politics (HIP) for the past year, I have been pursuing grassroots organizing in civic engagement, political advocacy, and the development of youth leadership spaces. I am extremely passionate about promoting equity and equal opportunities for communities of color, and especially for Queer and Southeast identifying peoples. I facilitated youth justice training workshops for Fresno and Sacramento youth and college advocates and want to pursue more bureaucratic forms of political work though public policy and addressing health inequalities. I am always looking for new ways to challenge myself and I hope to be able to put my experiences to work in my trajectory of better serving the community.
