Delivery management - Provide strategic and operational leadership: Responsible for the overall success of the firm requiring tailored support to the team to deliver a successful business plan, and direct income generation through identifying and leading on specific consultancy businesses. In the first two quarters, the firm has achieved the following:§ Successfully delivered financial management and non- financial business development services to five SMEs in the poultry, hospitality, textile & fashion and food processing (pastry) sectors in a bid to get them investment ready culminating to business plan tender for a cumulative investment of to US$ 1ml.§ Successfully delivered comprehensive capacity building in supply-chain and operations management to 14 SMEs to include light manufacturing, honey processing, weaving, and a diverse range of other sectors under the Cordaid Resilient Business Development Program§ Evaluation and recommendation for selection of strategic SMEs in four priority sectors (rice, poultry, oil-palm and cocoa) for investment of up to US$12ml under the World Bank and DFID funded Sierra Leone Smallholder Commercialization and Agribusiness Development Program (SCADeP) managed by KPMG.Management of client relationships: Manage communication and key engagements with consultancy clients, while providing high quality solutions for clients, informed by thought leadership, policy and practice.New Business acquisition – bids and proposal tenders Generating Demand: development of articles, presenting atseminars & conferences and attending networking eventsInnovation and change: many small businesses are currently using SAS customized financial management system.

Strategy and Planning: Develop a sustainable model and an annual business plan to achieve the SME TA Facility’s mission. Implement a results-based management framework. Develop the Facility’s human resource, financial and operations planning system and recommend goals for program development. Plan Facility’s service offerings and build partnership with government agencies and other development partners. Client Relationship Management: Manages the selection process of SMEs with high potential for growth to participate in the Facility. Monitor supported enterprise business performance, and provides guidance and coaching. Product and Business Development: Introduce and manage new value-added services in response to the growth opportunities and needs of the SME clients of the Facility.Portfolio Management: Lead coordination of activities with PCU, other WB supported projects, and other implementation partners to promote the SME TA Facility and ensure implementation of agreed initiatives and delivery of outputs. Operations, Financial Analysis & Risk Management: Manage business operations, finance (up to USD $6M in Phase-I), and the administrative set up of the Facility including human resource. Manage the provision of support services and facilities to entrepreneurs within the Facility. Ecosystem integration: facilitate, ensure and collaborate in ecosystem building and integration with the Facility

• Support the process of MDP portfolio development through effective research and analysis.• Set the strategic direction (vision) for each of the interventions within the relevant MDP sub-sector (in partnership with sector stakeholders); and subsequently to develop effective partnerships with stakeholders (including other donor funded programmes) to maximise the prospects for successful delivery of each intervention.• Develop and manage successful delivery of each intervention (results chains; work plans, annual budgets; sub contracts and grants) and to be responsible for the performance of implementing partners and service providers.• Lead the process of reporting on sector interventions, and in doing so to facilitate wider lesson learning and knowledge management from MDP’s interventions.
