I served as an Orientation Leader for the Collegia Stream of Jumpstart, where I received training and worked closely with fellow Orientation Leaders and Senior Leaders to welcome new UBC first-year students.In this role, I co-facilitated the orientation experience for a group of 21 incoming Sauder students during the week-long Jump Start program. As a senior student, I played a key role in supporting their transition from high school to university by sharing my personal insights and offering guidance specific to the faculty. Additionally, I contributed to the formation of lasting connections among students by organizing engaging activities and encouraging friendly discussions.

Working as a server, I served hundreds of customers a day, while maintaining a positive attitude and creating customer relationships to create long-term customers. To ensure efficiency, I communicated with other employees and kitchen staff to work together and cohesively. I also multitasked as a barista, where I memorized ingredients and instructions, and used attentive skills to prepare drinks while working under time pressure. I also worked to train new employees for the barista position.
