About Vanig Krikorian
I am a strategic communications consultant, with 15 years of experience navigating the world of branding, marketing and recently sustainability communications. After a decade in brand and advertising agencies that included managing The Contenders, a brand strategy and design agency, through all aspects of business and operations, I decided to return to project work and client consulting. After obtaining certifications in the practice of sustainability/ESG communications and sustainable marketing, I have launched my venture in this space. I therefore wear two hats, one for my brand consulting through The Contenders and one for my new sustainability strategy and comms practice called Fair & Forward.Regardless of the task I am a big believer in starting any work with active listening and empathetic engagement, whether that means involving final users of a product or service, or engaging stakeholders in a meaningful way. I have found this to be the biggest differentiator in a project's success and strive for it in all my endeavours.
