The ValuesML project is an integral part of a broader JRC initiative with the goal to empower policymakers with a deeper comprehension of citizens' values and aspirations concerning policy matters. Recognizing the pivotal role of values and identities in shaping citizens' perspectives on policies, our project aims to dig deeper into this dimension.Through an innovative approach utilizing machine learning, the ValuesML project endeavours to explore expressed values within news media and political manifestos. By establishing meaningful connections between these values, policies, significant events, and political landscapes, we seek to provide policymakers with a more comprehensive understanding of the underlying factors at play when formulating effective policies.

REFUGE-ED (Horizon 2020) brings together two fields of expertise: education and mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) in humanitarian settings to improve academic achievement and the dynamic integration of migrant, refugee, and asylum-seeking children. REFUGE-ED carries out 46 pilots in 6 countries (Italy, Greece, Ireland, Sweden, Bulgaria, and Spain). The backbone in the REFUGE-ED project is the dialogic co-creation process. It is implemented through the close collaboration and work with children and families, communities, civil society organisations, local service providers, schools, and teaching staff and policy makers who chose and adapt the best action and methodology in each setting based on their specific context.

MATILDE (Horizon 2020) focuses on the impact of migration on the local development of 13 rural and mountain case study regions in the 10 partner countries (Austria, Bulgaria, Finland, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and United Kingdom). It develops and tests a transdisciplinary conceptual and methodological framework for a multidimensional assessment of the economic and social impacts of TNCs. MATILDE aims to examine how migration impacts local development and territorial cohesion in European rural and mountain regions, as well as to improve integration and local development.
