- Inform, guide and assist library users on library collections and resources including cyberspace and video collection;- Register library's incoming and outgoing documents in the management system;- Index library documents and assign classification code and call numbers;- Responsible in the library of the archives and records management working project actually taking place in UNICTR;- Perform basic library circulation functions, including retrieval, check out, discharge and recalls of materials;- Conduct research in the library catalog and resources as well as external information sources to locate specific items requested like Trim, westlaw, lexis;- Provide technical support and instruction to library patrons using electronic resources and reference tools;- Assist in development and maintenance of relevant databases keeping data, accurate and current, and preparing new material as needed;- Perform collection maintenance according to the library's classification systems and specialized collection arrangements;- Assists in accessioning, disposition, description, and database updating activities as they relate to individual collections;- Perform digitization functions, including scanning. creating digital objects and posting to designated repositories;- Participate in the compilation of documents, correction of the metadata relating to the publication of the ICTR basic documents and case law. (Download documents for TRIM);- Participate in the compilation of statistics for the collection usage, library workload and library attendance;- Initiate purchase orders and follow-up orders;- Initiate the receiving and inspection procedure and liaise with procurement and finance to ensure that final payment is made;- Train users how to search and get access to ICTR's jurisprudence from TRIM;- Focal points of the Archives and Records Management Working Group: inventory of the archives, establishment of a retention schedule, transfer.
