I'm a multi-passionate businesswoman and I love creating opportunities, fostering growth, and driving excellence across my small business enterprise. As the founder and CEO of VANBAR Holdings, I manage a diverse portfolio of successful small businesses, including CNA Training & Testing Center, Reliable Livescan, and multiple Sylvan Learning Centers. Each of these ventures has been recognized by their respective Chambers of Commerce for business excellence, a testament to our commitment to quality and community service.Before embarking on my entrepreneurial journey, I served in the United States Air Force, earning numerous unit and individual accolades such as two Air Force Achievement Medals with four oak leaf clusters, two Air Force Commendation Medals, an Iraqi Campaign Medal with a bronze star, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, AF Longevity Service Medal, and the Korean Defense Service Medal.Aside from my military service, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business, and my various business endeavors, one of the most empowering, profoundly liberating experiences in my life was the home birth of my fourth child.Currently, I am a BG5 consultant in training.
