“Without friction nothing shines” - this Dutch proverb (“zonder wrijving geen glans”) sums up why I love my work: I have a desire to make things shine and enjoy constructively challenging the status quo to get there.As a principal consultant and Benelux regional director at Fidenda I am responsible for our Benelux practice and work shoulder-to-shoulder with our clients to leverage Anaplan’s connected planning platform to improve how they manage business performance across the organization: breaking down traditional functional silo’s and enabling a shift towards real-time, connected business planning.I have gained 16 years of consulting experience working with a set of high profile clients in various sectors, but predominantly in the Consumer Goods, Retail and Energy domains. My educational background is in Business Administration and my professional career started at Deloitte in a financial management consulting role for the first 6 years of my career. In 2012 I moved to London and joined a boutique IT-consultancy, Bluefin Solutions, to focus on implementing SAP technology enabled improvements within Finance function, with a focus on Business Intelligence, Financial Planning & Consolidation, and Analytics solutions. In 2017 I joined EY’s Technology Consulting team where I focused on leading Finance workstreams as part of large, SAP-enabled transformation programs. In addition to “what” I do, I firmly believe that “how” I do this is equally important. I am constructively outspoken and my approach to work is inclusive and collaborative. Working with stakeholders at all levels within an organization, I ensure IT-enabled projects deliver added value to the business.
