Beyond the coordination with national and sub-national government and other related stakeholders, supervised the 7 project staff assuring the 267 Livelihood Improvement Groups (LIG) in Prey Veng province be mature and sustained in improving their livelihoods. This was the Tonle Sap Poverty Reduction and Smallholder Development Project-Additional Financing project funded by ADB & IFAD & RGC. This assignment of this post included leading and providing technical ongoing support to the provincial team implementing their day-to-day project activities such as establishing, conducting training, following up with, coaching, mentoring LIGs in developing & executing their business plan, group by-law, bookkeeping, group savings, group management, market linkages, the effectiveness of using loans and selecting LIG members to join Market Improvement Groups (MIGs) and conducting farmers-to-farmers learning events.

Through through coordinating and collaborating with Ministry of Education and Support bodies, other stakeholders to ensure the smooth run of the project, delivered the World Link-ASEANSchoolnet project activities at aiming to improve the school curriculum by integrating ICT into upper-secondary school’s curriculum. Not limited, this role included developing training curriculum and materials in the matters of integrating Information Communication Technology into second high school, conducting trainings of trainers to school teachers and school principals on teaching methods and approaches, especially using Information Communication Technology as tools for teaching and learning, following up and monitor, evaluating and the project schools’ performance to ensure the effectiveness of implementing project activities and providing feedbacks to teachers and school management teams to improve the quality of education and the sustainability of the school project.

Led in delivering consultancy services to UN agencies and INGOs (Unicef, GIZ, CZM, IVY…) in building the capacity of monks, teachers, school principals, education officials, and villagers on environmental education topics, project management, facilitation skills, teaching/training methodologies, eco-tourism establishment, echo school green clubs and report writing. Provided technical support through following up, coaching, and mentoring them and commune councils in implementing green school/pagoda project activities.

Built capacity of teacher teams through training, mentoring, coaching, and evaluating them on high-quality education and positive, non-discriminatory interactions with students including classroom management, positive discipline, and student-centered/competency-based learning.
