Drug addiction and drug abuse are big issues in America today. My passion is testing patients’ samples and providing accurate results to doctors with quick turn around time, so they can treat patients effectively. After graduating from the university as a Chemical engineering, I worked for a company in Vietnam for about three years. Then, I moved to America. I studied Medical Laboratory program and graduated in 2014. I work in the lab for over three years. I have experienced in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Toxicology. I currently work in Toxicology Laboratory Department. I am hard-working, careful, organized, patient, and can work under pressure as well as can do multiple tasks at the same time. I am able to work well as individual or as a part of a team. In addition, I am craving to learn new things. With strong chemistry background and experienced in medical lab, I effectively run toxicology lab with high volume. My current job is preparing reagents, extracting samples, running mass spectrometry, and review results. I love my jobs because I play a vital role of improving patients’ lives.Besides professional skills, I love learning technology. I master Microsoft Word and Excel. I can create spreadsheets, charts, and tables to help my job done faster. I also know Photoshop and can create websites using coding. My hobby is baking and traveling. I also love having an organic garden. Therefore, I plant a lot of vegetables and fruit trees in my back yard. I have green onions, squashes, tomato, cucumber, pepper, plum, peach tree and so on.
