It Desktop Support Specialist
Current• Provide comprehensive technical support to a user base of 10000 + internal and external customers (local office, production and global production employees via phone, e-mail, in person ticketing system and remote applications)• Troubleshooting and repairing laptop or PC hardware/software problems.• Selected for numerous high priority and extremely confidential projects involving contract manufacturing partners, called upon as a specialist to travel extensively internationally to the United States, Mexico, Europe and Asia• Deal with external vendors for warranty repair issues, software installation and repair, and performing software installations for users as required• Experience with Remedy IT Service Management• Provided support for BlackBerry devices (Activations, Software Upgrades, BlackBerry Enterprise Server management)• Imaging/Backup of PCs using Symantec Ghost• Basic System Administrator tasks (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Backup and restore from remote servers• Asset Management• Virus Management• PC hardware and software deployment• uniFLOW printer Management• Experience with System Center Configuration Manager 2012 R2 (SCCM)
