As a Software Engineer at Commvault, I contribute to the development and maintenance of cloud services and disaster recovery products, using various programming languages such as C++, Java, and JavaScript. I have worked on highly-available solutions to upload and protect DR backups to cloud, and to replicate and live-sync servers across multiple nodes, adding security by deploying a custom built 2FA on the frontend.I also collaborate with customers and partners on a weekly basis to look for enhancements and fixes for the product, improving reliability and user experience. I have conducted code reviews and mentored a group of interns in my team, as well as taken active part in hiring events and contributed with complex system design questions. Additionally, I have ported an in-demand administrative migration feature to be operable on Linux.I have a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology, where I graduated in 2021. During my studies, I participated and won several hackathons, including India’s biggest state organized hackathon, where I used augmented reality in education. I am passionate about impact-driven development, where I aim to deliver work that brings about a positive impact in the society and build tech that makes people’s lives easier.
