Welcome to my LinkedIn Profile.I pursued Software Engineering as a Career because I had a knack for problem-solving, I still do, but that enthusiasm has now evolved into a desire to build software that's used by millions on a daily-basis. In order to strengthen my skills as a developer, I resolved to solving problems around Data Structures and Algorithms while I was in college. I ended up solving as many as 1000+ problems on different coding platforms, I still do because I enjoy the grind, and the dopamine. The most interesting work I did here was towards developing a Customer Unification Application for a bank. I worked on a POC to unify customers based on Name and address match percentages, officially valid documents and other criteria for a record of over 2 million customers. I also implemented optimization techniques, which included partitioning the data frame into partitions of 1000, to reduce processing time by almost 20%.After my tenure as an Intern, I joined Lytx, Inc. full time as Software Engineer 1. At Lytx, I worked on a feature to support dynamic overlays in videos, in order to visualize the distance between the host vehicle, and the vehicle just ahead. For this feature, I worked on writing API s using .NET to store and fetch data from AWS S3 bucket. I also worked on the Frontend, using Angular, where I resolved a critical bug wherein the overlay was not visible for zoom levels below 100%. Apart from work, in my free time I read a lot of technical blogs and newsletters, and write some of my own and share them here on LinkedIn.
