CAMPUS WIDE HARDWARE REPAIR AND SUPPORT• Daily repair of all electronic hardware supported across campus. • Assessing and documenting Risk Management physical damage insurance claims • Daily coordination and communication to transport hardware, campus wide. • Collaborated with academic and technical departments to create a simplified and streamlined incident support process, creation to completion. • Fluid support for technology, in all major operating systems, MacOS, iOS, Windows, Android and Linux. •Comprehensive and critical, OS vs Hardware troubleshooting knowledge.CAMPUS WIDE HARDWARE REFRESH AND DEPLOYMENT• Design Campus Tech Space layouts. • Plan and purchase new hardware devices, for annual refreshes • Deploy, network and secure, all new hardware being installed throughout Campus Tech Spaces. • Continued support to over one million, campus connected devices.STRATEGIC STAFFING AND TRAINING• Assist with hiring new student employees, to grow their area of study, while completing daily technical tasks. • Certifying new hires through our main campus tech vendors (i.e. Microsoft, Apple, Dell, HP)-Guide and direct the information and information systems that underpin much of the service design, service delivery, business processes, and analytics that enable the provisioning of and planning for communications systems across the University of Michigan-Evaluate, recommend, and help implement new modes, such as cloud computing, of designing, developing, and operating information systems-Explore and help implement new forms of service provisioning and delivery, customer engagement, and workflow automationDaily Tasks:LeadershipOperational ManagementStrategy and PlanningService ImprovementProject ManagementStaff Supervision & DevelopmentBuilding RelationshipsCompetencies Displayed:Interpersonal SkillsCommunicationCreative Problem SolvingStrategic ThinkingFlexibilityAdaptability to ChangeLeadershipAchievement OrientationQuality Service
