CurrentLead 3d artist for the Navy S2025 FY20 and FY22 Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) program for improving Sailor performance and enhancing fleet readiness. Responsibilities include 3d modeling for several RRL Sailor ratings which involve various ship classifications. Design simulations and interactive multimedia courseware graphics for a variety of delivery systems including level 4 complex media for the Unity game engine. Author documentation for processes to establish 3d model and texture standards to maintain team efficiency, quality, and accuracy while adhering to project technical and visual requirements. Tools used include 3ds Max for 3d model development, Substance Painter, and Adobe Photoshop for PBR (Physically-Based Rendering) content texturing. Create template tools to assist 3d models creation and texturing to ensure consistency across content development efforts. Name-coded hierarchy system to help increase accuracy and traceability when working on projects in the Unity workflow. Research and organize reference material source for graphics, task all graphic team members via Jira, and perform QA of completed production work. Configure 3d content, materials, and texture files for final Unity programming team delivery. Proficient in hard surface modeling and ability to retopologize high to low polygon models and creation of realistic textures using a Physically Based Rendering (PBR) workflow. Scale design efforts, determine and implement project-wide procedures for media development to meet production timelines. Work with Instructional Designers, Programmers, and Subject Matter Experts in the development of interactive multimedia courseware. Perform high quality assurance and configuration management responsibilities to adhere project content with ADL SCORM and ADA Section 508 compliance requirements. All project files, folders and their associated assets were properly named, cataloged and versioned for proficient database retrieval and archival purposes.
