I have been in software development for 18+ years-- have experienced with the statistical computing & graphical presentation in R Studio, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VB.NET, SQL for 8 years, C#, Bootstrap... In 2008, I was allowed to “breakthrough” SQL Server, then to SA role. I took the advantage, challenged myself to learn, write TSQL, data mining/manipulations/ import/export, set up SQL jobs, etc.; through these ventures my passion for data get ignited. I become more analytical, strategically thinking & was able to build the structural action models to solve any raising problems. I was capable enough to transform my clients' visions into reality regardless how difficult the project sounded like. When I was a SQL newbie, I was given a SQL .BAK backup file of a historical Human Resources Solution. I was requested to build a reporting program for HR Data Management. It was quite a challenge for me at the time since the given database had no DB Schema. I started to study each individual table & its structure in relation to each other. I then completed reverse engineering the database into an ER model, which depicted the relationships among the job objects, job seekers, & events within the system. It helped me excel in completing my project successfully in a short period of time. When it comes to data acceleration of digitization, I often wonder how to best remove the bottlenecks in the flow of works, to alleviate the challenges of implementing data science, to help organizations turn their data into insights faster and more efficiently, to make smarter business decisions. Additionally, I went to a series of life challenges in late 2020, resigned from my former job after 15 years of experience working in software development, & the time that followed allowed me to discover my true passion for data management. I got infatuated on the values & benefits of data science, which can be achieved in the ever-growing sphere of technology. On Fall 2022, I started to pursuit a Master of Science in Data Science at the University of Texas. Thus far, I have accomplished a GPA of 4.0 on the graduate level core of Data Exploration & Visualization, & currently seeking for a fulltime position in an organization that will unitize my skills/knowledge in development. I am highly motivated, always had an eagerness to learn and perform at the highest level. I am confident that my passion for data, knowledge along with my capabilities in development, and personal/organizational competencies will equip me for success within your organization & can be a great asset for your team.
