E-Learning Developer & Information Analyst
I was originally hired as an e-Learning Developer-- developing Computer Based Training (CBT) courses. After I developed 3 CBT courses SCORM 2.0, I got bored, then I got a chance to support the third party applications such as: Learning Management System, Employee Development Plan (EDP). After I developed 3 CBT courses SCORM 2.0, I got bored, then I got a chance to support the third party applications such as: Learning Management System, Employee Development Plan (EDP). Shortly after that, I got advanced to Classic ASP application development. The term .NET was introduced to me in 2005. I recalled, my boss first assigned to me to complete a Classic ASP application, Structured Interview where he just started. I was a newbie & an only programmer in the team, I got stuck a lot, with the "can-learn and can-do" mentality, I have completed the project successfully. Then, I got a chance to migrate a couple legacy Classic ASP applications to .NET, including incorporate my creativity into enhancing these systems, improving system usage with EDI capabilities, graphical reporting. This has saved the end-users hours and days on analyzing data and using MS Excel to pivot & create graphical reports for the organization needs.In addition to partially front-ends & back-ends supporting the 3rd party applications such as: LMS. EDP, SP, etc., I have transformed the majority of the manual, time consuming processes of the human capital management into the optimum and automated processes by coordinating with the supervisor & client to develop the HCM web-based applications such as: Vacancy Filling, Fuel Your Future, 360 Leadership Perspective, Library Resources System, Exit Survey, etc..In 2018, my 1st application written in C# was developed. I got a week of C# training in early 2019 & truly enjoyed C# Object Oriented programming. I have been non-stopping & quite enthusiastically being drawn to learning new technologies. I always have a thirst to create the beautiful & the best of the best, like my 1st boss at CITGO has assessed me that, my “eagerness to learn & perform at the highest level cannot be matched” :).
