I am co-founder at Darwin et al. (https://www.linkedin.com/company/darwin-et-al), which is a mobile application for medical professionals in academia to help discover and collaborate on clinical research opportunities. Our goal is to build a clinical research database to increase access to clinical research and fostering completion of incomplete research projects (ie. taking abstract to manuscript submission)As former medical students and current residents and fellows, we realize that options to participate in research are often limited. Likewise, we note that attending physicians and senior trainees also have trouble obtaining reliable assistants for their existing research projects.Darwin et al. bridges this gap by connecting those who are seeking research projects with those who need help completing their own existing research.We urge you to invite co-workers, faculty members, housestaff and students who may find this application helpful to achieve their goals.
