The Hatházi Law Firm deals with a broad variety of legal matters, but its main practice areas are intellectual property, media and business law. The company's goal is to create a law firm which provides a high professional standard that clients expect from large international law firms but which - at the same time - preserves the flexibility and the direct, personal approach to the clients that is typical for smaller law offices. Within such a nice atmosphere I was able to participate from the start in important tasks and work individually with drafting contracts, writing legal documents (such as terms and conditions, disclaimers etc.) for promotions, dealing with intellectual property matters (trademark search, intellectual property infringement issues) and labour law issues for foreigners, translate business contracts from Hungarian to English and vice versa and had such a great insight to claim management issues of a leading Hungarian leasing company (liquidation, bankruptcy proceedings, compliance enforcement). This job broadened my view about the wide-reaching world of law, I gained a lot of experience in many fields and also really helped me to improve my problem solving skills.
