For Purchase management  Processing requisitions efficiently, preparing appropriate comparative statements and issuing purchase orders on negotiated best price, delivery, payments. Procurement of material from national and international market. Planning and budgeting of purchase functions, involving cost estimation, contract negotiations.  Liaison with the production department to maintain optimum inventory and implementing systems to avoid situations like over-stocking or out-of-stock which cause production and financial losses. Liaison with finance department for timely payment of bills.  Contribute to development of annual business plans, associated budgets and buying strategies. Obtaining quotations from multiple vendors , preparation of comparative statements, Techno Commercial negations and rate finalization  GRN processing  New Vendor identification (Sourcing) Communication with vendors/suppliers on outstanding payments and invoices and Processing blocked invoices by coordinating with Accounts Dept.For Vendor Development Effective management of vendor database.  Development of new vendors. Evaluating vendors & negotiating the price, delivery schedule and terms and conditions with them.  Timely clearance of payments & handling vendor inquiries. Maintain profitable relationships with existing suppliers, and monitor the adherence to the contract termsFor Inventory Management  Maintaining the stock of material without any variance by conducting stock verification and documentation. Regularizing material receipts and ensuring the fluidity of stocks from stores to plants.. Monitor the stock levels in the stores; coordinate with the store personnel to maintain optimal stock levels in line with the consumer demand.Key Skills:Negotiation, Supply chain management, Vendor development, Sourcing, MIS, etc.
