Manufacturing Engineer
Current•Develop and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality•Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of products, providing input on design for assembly (DFA) and design for manufacturability (DFM) principles•Plan and schedule manufacturing activities, ensuring timely delivery of products while optimizing resource utilization•Implement quality control procedures and standards to maintain product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements•Identify and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes, equipment, or product quality through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation•Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline operations•Oversee the maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime•Conduct cost analysis and feasibility studies for proposed manufacturing projects or process improvements to evaluate their financial impact•Create and maintain documentation including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flow diagrams•Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the manufacturing environment, implementing measures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment for employees
