This included emotional and physical support in the event of a minor incident (alcohol poisoning), to even crisis level situations (suicides). In addition to these responsibilities, I provided programming and leadership building opportunities to my residents at Lister Centre.Highlights and sample engagements included:■ Personally helped over 40 students from over 450 in their adversity through one on one counseling and resource awareness■ Developed a two-day large scale tower-wide event that focused on community building and stress relief ■ Organized a suicide prevention bake sale with the resident assistant team that raised over $500 for the Centre for Suicide Prevention

My strengths lied in successfully identifying leaders in my community to host events with, and in my ability to adapt to crisis situations using my training in suicide prevention and intervention.
