Manage the development of complete vertical of MTA product (Action) which includes SAS based tool using Microservices Architecture (Application development) along with prescriptive analytics platform that can build sophisticated Multi Touch Attribution (MTA) models automatically. This platform have the ability to build prescriptive models using data size ranging from few GB to petabytes of data. * Lead team of 17 Software professionals.* Manage vendor Relationships.* Owning the complete MTA infrastructure from big-data-architecture stack perspective. This includes ability to run our use case on any third party provided Hadoop as a Service. This is possible by choosing service provider at run time based on historical statistics and per unit cost of execution. *** This initiative helped us in saving $750K by renegotiating our contract with one of Hadoop service providers.

Managing team that's building prescriptive Analytics platforms that can build sophisticated Multi Touch Attribution (MTA) and Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) models automatically. Responsibilities includes :-- Owning complete SDLC for these platforms using agile methodology.-- Defining road map by working with Senior leadership team in engineering and product and corresponding budget allocation for the projects.On technical front major contribution had been to implement Refresh Framework for MTA.By implementing common framework to be used for clients using MTA product, we were able to automate the complete refresh process and reduce the operation cost by 50% in terms of man hours.

Involved in design and end to end development of MOR (Modeling Output Reports) module for MarketShare Analytic Platform. One of major task includes designing and implementing Hadoop jobs to generate simulation data which would be used to generate relevant marketing analytic reports. Added support for visualization of reports using ArcadiaData. Designed and Implemented the generic HadoopAsServiceProvider Framework which encapsulates a set of API's which can be implemented by underlying Hadoop as service providers. Benefit of this is to expose single set of API to end user which can be implemented for spawning and execution of Hadoop jobs without worrying underlying service provider and implementing individual set of API provided by Hadoop as a service provider.

Designed and developed framework which can be used to run customized Hadoop jobs as per use case. Its a generic Framework where a task to be executed is prepared at runtime. Task has been divided into triplet (input , processor and output) i.e. based on combination of input,processor and output, task is composed at runtime This lead to reusable library of code, we don't have to write custom code every time. We can swap out inputs or outputs or processorThe framework exposes set of abstract API's which can be implemented to develop specific Hadoop jobs according to product needs.Framework internally used EMR or Altiscale to execute hadoop jobs.One of the major use cases for using MSMPServices is to bring different implementations of Hadoop jobs by different products within MarketShare under one umbrella. Member of small advanced development team in India on a research project to explore next generation data management stack. As a member of this team :• Co Authored a paper titled “Uncovering Co-design Optimizations for Enterprise Data Management: An HP-IT Case Study with Modern Databases”. It got honorary invite at HP TechCon’12.Being part of Query Processing team of SQL/MX product, Key deliverable includes :• As a member of team of 3 engineers, implemented Reflexive Update feature i.e. solved Halloween problem in SQL/MX. • Solved a critical customer issue and helping customer to Go Live. Fixed issues in costing and cardinality area and helped them in going live.

Worked with Server Performance Engineering Team @Oracle on products including Dataguard, AQ, streams, Golden Gate.

Worked as a member of Speed team (Performance engineering) on products named as ASE and Replication Server.Major deliverable includes : * Implemented performance enhancement for create/alter operation in the Replication server. *** Improved performance by 30X. * Re-implementation of CIPC (Cluster Inter Process Communication) for performance improvement in the ASE SDC resulting in achievment of performance gain of 12%-15%. * Re-wrote the synchronous I/O interface for the Replication server, to support asynchronous I/O.
