As an AI & Technology Fellow for APCO, my duties include conducting in-depth market research, analyzing competitor products and strategies, creating comprehensive competitive intelligence reports, and collaborating with product managers, analytics, engineering, and data science teams. I am also involved in developing marketing and sales enablement content such as reports, presentations, data sheets, use cases, and battle cards for various tech clients and product marketing projects.

I primarily focused on Tech PR, product marketing, and branding for tech startups. My responsibilities included managing communication strategies for 4-5 clients, conducting market research, and creating comprehensive competitive intelligence reports. I collaborated closely with product managers, analytics, engineering, and data science teams to gather feedback and set requirements for various SaaS and PaaS products. Additionally, I developed marketing and sales enablement content, such as reports, presentations, data sheets, use cases, and battle cards, specifically for climate tech and SaaS products. My work also involved monitoring industry trends, contributing to PR campaigns, and engaging in regular team meetings to ensure alignment and effective communication strategies.

-Contributed to the Charlotta Bass Journalism & Justice Lab, the West Coast’s first AI-powered Black media archive and experimental storytelling space.-Organized and promoted events, including Charlotta Bass Day, featuring discussions with Dr. Ilyasah Shabazz and Lora King.-Developed original content for the Lab’s social media channels & websites, focusing on timely topics in Black media and social justice.-Supported Black History Month programming through pre-event planning, production support, and social media coverage.-Engaged in mentorship and guidance under Dr. Allissa V. Richardson, enhancing my skills in strategic communication and media advocacy.
