Responsible for managing the Park District’s online, electronic, mobile and social media marketing efforts. Develop, maintain and evaluate such outlets and content for all departments of the Park District.Plans and manages the Park District’s existing electronic media marketing efforts including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, Linked In and monthly e-mail newsletters. • Monitors emerging trends in online and electronic communications, mobile marketing and social media channels. Evaluates, recommends and, when appropriate, develops content for additional channels and platforms.
• Maintains content and structure of various Park District websites, and develops strategies for continuous evolution and improvement of the sites in the future.• Graphic design for ads, forms and other publicity, photo/video projects.• Works as an integral part of the IT Department and Communications Department and with other Departments as required, meeting with District staff members as appropriate to provide assistance and information.

In addition to coaching and motivating a team of 30 plus swimmers, the day-to-day responsibilities include organizing and running practices, coordinating with other coaches and interacting with both swimmers and parents.
