Manage and guide a team of risk experts in the fields of Open Banking, Artificial Intelligence, Innovation, and the Digital Corporate Segment. Work with our 2nd Line of Defense and Business Line Chief Risk Offices to set risk strategy, find gaps, and establish risk and control frameworks that provide adequate risk supervision without hindering product innovation and delivery.- Lead the development and implementation of the Bank's AI Center of Excellence risk program, establishing best practices and standards for ethical, transparent, and accountable AI solutions across the organization.- Partner closely with our 2LoD and championed a responsible AI framework that aligns with the Bank's values and mission, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and customer expectations.- Engaged as a key representative for the Bank in various financial industry AI and Open Banking working groups, partnering with leaders across the financial and digital ecosystem to address concerns and draft guidance to regulators on the impact of open banking, data exchange standards, and emerging risks to both financial institutions and customers. Additionally, play a pivotal role in the Bank's regulatory audit response team, assisting and delivering on OCC and CFPB inquiries and audits with a consistent record of zero material findings.- Enable the Bank’s digital transformation initiatives by ensuring that risk processes, controls, and quality assurance are consistent with our Agile methodology work practices. Manage strategic risk programs, collaborating across the Enterprise with affected business lines to ensure that a comprehensive risk approach to business strategy is established.- Responsible for risk oversight of the Bank’s innovation business line working closely to align their strategy of financial evolution with the Bank’s risk appetite and anticipated regulation across the areas of Cryptocurrency, Blockchain, Fintech Partnerships, Intellectual Property and AI.

Responsible for the Enterprise testing results database, and maintenance of all statistical information. Conducted detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis and reporting. Provided recommendations, ad hoc projects / data requests, and issue investigations for senior management and executives. Led CQA’s cross-functional reporting groups by managing all compliance analysis and testing results to develop comprehensive and insightful reporting for the Board of Directors, executives, senior management, and the business lines.

Created and executed a new loan document process with a pilot team, aiming to improve compliance with both federal regulations and company standards and reduce the time it takes to close a loan. Utilized Microsoft Excel to generate and review reports for management on productivity on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Collaborated with our loan processors and assisted in the development, implementation, and audit of the training of new compliance team members and loan processors on internal processes.

• Reviewed and approved HUDs and Direct Bills along with completing both pre-closing and funding compliance checks.• Overhauled the existing processes to alleviate errors in the company’s home mortgage loans. The processes that were developed for a sub-section of mortgages were utilized across the division as a result of the efficiencies and improved compliance.

Took on various responsibilities, such as coaching, mentoring, and commanding soldiers in war and in peace. Had personal responsibility and accountability for equipment worth more than $2 million. Completed some of the Army’s most distinguished courses, including Non-Commissioned Officer Schools and the Department of Defense Language Institute (Arabic), with outstanding performance in all of them.
