- Since February 2020, I serve the National Regulatory Authority EETT, the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission as Vice President for Electronic Communications on a full-time basis. - Since 2005, Faculty member (currently full professor) on telecommunications technoeconomics in the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at the University of Athens (www.di.uoa.gr). - During 2007-2016, I was a member of BoG (Member and Associate Vice President) of ADAE, the Hellenic Authority for the Information and Communication Security (www.adae.gr)- Participation in numerous European R&D projects in the RACE I &II, ACTS, Telematics, RISI and IST frameworks in the areas of telecommunications and technoeconomics. - Nowdays, I actively participate in several technoeconomic activities for telecommunications, networks and services such the ICT-OMEGA, the CELTIC/CINEMA projects, as well as the COST605 and the Conferences on Telecommunications TechnoEconomics (www.ctte-conference.org). - I participate in or manage related national activities for technoeconomic evaluation of broadband strategies, telecommunications demand forecasting, price modelling etc. - My research interests span design of optical and wireless communications systems to technoeconomic evaluation of network architectures and services. I publish in refereed journals and conferences in the area of telecommunications, optoelectronics and technoeconomics, including leading IEEE Journals and conferences. - Member of LEOS, Communications, Circuits and Systems, Education and Engineering Management Societies of IEEE, serving as reviewer in several including IEEE journals and conferences.Specialties: Telecommunications systems design and technoeconomics, telecommunications business, telecommunications regulation, economics and management, network engineering economics, telecom industrial organisation, Optical and wireless communications
