About Viviana Alejandra Rodríguez
Ph.D. in Biostatistics and M.Sc. in Clinical Epidemiology, with knowledge in health research, conduct, and analysis of clinical research studies, quality control in the data collection and analysis phases, and preparing reports with statistical results. Experience in critical appraisal of scientific literature and systematic reviews of the literature. Additionally, Experience in undergraduate and postgraduate university teaching, especially for medical and dental students. Teamwork skills and good knowledge of software for database construction and statistical analysis.My research interest includes survival analysis, prediction models, frequentist and Bayesian methods for longitudinal data, zero-inflated data, and mixture models. As an Assistant Professor in the School of Medicine at the PUJ, and BCL Associate at VCU, I have been involved in several applied clinical research projects, particularly in lung cancer, liver transplant, mental health, and preterm infant outcomes.
