As the Group HR/IR Manager, my role entails coordinating and managing the HR functions for the group and its subsidiaries. To implement and maintain the required HR platforms and projects at a group and subsidiary level and to provide an effective framework for regulating the relationship between employees, relevant unions and the employer thus preventing and/or managing all disputes and ensuring a healthy IR climate within the organization.

Bio2watt Energy Holdings is a Biogas Renewable Energy generation organisation. The company currently has a plant in Bronkhorstspruit and further development projects are underway. As the HR Manager for the organisation my role entails setting up the HR department, putting in place HR policies and procedures, establishing systems and processes overall HR generalist responsibilities by providing HR support to BEH (Bio2watt Energy Holdings), BBP (Bronkhorstspruit Biogas Plant) and new project development.

• Human resource management responsible for the effective designing and implementation of various policies, procedures and programs. • Developing and managing knowledge, skills, creativity, aptitude and talent and using them optimally. • Developing and managing harmonious relationships in the workplace and striking a balance between organizational goals and individual goals. • Support management team with all human resource issues. • Interaction with Union representatives, compliance with Employment Equity and Skills Development, monitoring and compliance with companies BBB-EE strategies and targets.
