As a SOC Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services, I ensure the security of our clients' systems, network, and data by proactively monitoring and responding to threats and incidents. I have over five years of experience in information security, and I have acquired multiple skills in cybersecurity, such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, and threat hunting.In my current role, I work in a 24x7 security operations center, where I use Splunk as a SIEM tool to analyze and report on security alerts, incidents, and vulnerabilities. I also perform security testing using Nessus, a vulnerability assessment tool, and conduct malware analysis using open source tools. Some of my achievements include detecting and blocking malicious phishing emails, domains, and IPs, and increasing the user retention rate by 25% by improving the SIEM performance and status. I collaborate with various teams to coordinate and escalate issues as needed, and I am passionate about learning new technologies and techniques in cybersecurity.
