I have assisted filmmaker Shivendra Singh Dungarpur on over 50 ad films. While at Dungarpur Films, I got a taste of various aspects of filmmaking – whether it was costume styling, location scouting, production design, interfacing with agencies and clients or dialing on-set chaos to ‘controlled’. An exposure to International production and the nuances of cross cultural co-operation happened on projects like HP Printers where I functioned as a Line Producer, and on DBS Bank where I handled International Casting. As a Line Producer, I have worked hand in hand with agencies and clients. From the Pre to the Post, preparing PPM dockets for presentation to clients, networking and scouting crew for projects, managing the team of assistants to the entire crew on location. I learnt the science of handling Finance and the Accounting Department whilst developing and exhibiting administration abilities. I have had the good fortune of working with agencies like Lowe & Partners, Ogilvy & Mather, JWT, Contract Advertising, Rediffusion DY&R, Publicis Worldwide, Cartwheel, Chapter-Five, Scarecrow Communications, Leo Burnett, McCann Erickson and many more.I found the greatest satisfaction of my career while working as a volunteer on the Film Preservation and Restoration School India 2015. I handled aspects from costing and budgeting for the event to coordinating with the event management partners and sponsors. From working on publicity material and merchandise, equipments procurement and installations, to coordinating with the technical team from L’Immagine Ritrovata Bologna, Italy and providing technical support, hospitality and travel for all the lecturers from USA, Taiwan and Italy. Further I learnt manpower management and setting up of the workshop at Films Division; finally handling decor for the opening and closing days at Liberty Cinema & Films Division. Being involved in FPRSI 2015 instilled a quiet confidence in her ability to manage any production.
