Joined as Tester at San Diego for Large US based telecom chipset provider & later became onsite lead followed by Delivery Lead at offshore. Was around 2.5 years in San Diego & rest shuttling between India & San Diego. Key highlights:• Started as tester in a project supporting Mobile TV for US based operators and later increased the team size to 30+ FTE’s.• Led the product assurance group & also started a test lab for the customer in India. • Worked with development and requirement team to roll out new features of the product like Digital Rights Management, Interactivity, Video/Audio quality tests and also tested across devices.• Supported in trials of the product for other prospective customers and did production server upgrades.• In parallel, supported TCS Sales team in responding to RFQ’s and won few bids worth million dollar based on various IP based technologies.• Liaised between management, sales team, development team and client to address any concerns or issues.

Joined as Developer and later became project lead for a messaging application Indian Government customer. Key highlights:• Involved in Project life cycle from requirement analysis, design and implementation to testing.• User acceptance testing and field deployment.• Imparting training to senior officials and engineers about the product.• Programming done using C++, C on VxWorks.• In parallel, did Proof of concepts on newer ideas which can be converted into commercial use cases.
