I would like to think of myself as a maker more than anything else. Even as a child I would be the one who would want to make something rather than buy it from the stores. As a result of this childhood obsession, I am a very hands-on person, I am comfortable working with a variety of materials, and the whole process never fails to exciteme.Apart from the understanding of design thinking and principles I have gained through my institution, I have also learned and polished my techniques and skills through part time internships and freelance work that I have taken up in the past. I have gained experience in various domains such as Lifestyle, Toys and Games, Appliance, Home Automation, Packaging, Installation Art and a little bit of branding and graphic design.I have also grown to appreciate design and more specifically gooddesign, and that has become a part of my life pursuits. I genuinely believe that the world of design and innovation can be the solution to a large number of the world’s problems and has a key role to play in making this world a better place for everyone.
