Manage Administration for Certification Schemes in India, coordinate and update Certification Bodies, plan, organise and coordinate Trainings, supervise and monitor Sustainability Standards and Scheme Development, prepare proposals, concept notes, internal and external communications.

My work includes development of globally benchmarked and India specific sustainability certification standards for various constituents of natural resources like forests, trees outside forests, non-wood forest products, etc. Standard development is performed through an open and transparent process by a multi-stakeholder standard development group. It includes mapping of stakeholders, sending invitation emails to stakeholders for participation, preparing concept note, ToRs & other documents, preparation of technical draft documents, identification of locations/areas for conducting workshops & pilot testing, liasioning with concerned stakeholders, putting up draft documents for public consultation, update and revision of standard and all steps according to the standard setting procedure document.
