I am Varun K U, a Senior Design Engineer with expertise in mechanical engineering and CAD software's. With a strong passion for design optimization and problem-solving, I strive to contribute to the overall growth of organizations by utilizing my knowledge and skills. I have a solid educational background, holding a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from PESITM, VTU University.My professional experience spans across various organizations, where I have honed my skills and gained valuable insights into design engineering. I began my career at MEC Concepts India Pvt Ltd, where I worked as a Trainee CAD Engineer & continuing my journey, I joined Allen Global Engineering Solutions Pvt Ltd as a Design Engineer.Currently, I am working at TAAL Technologies as a Senior Design Engineer. In this role, I have been responsible for designing and optimizing the configuration of multiple variables in truck body & tank trailer models, reducing the time required for manufacturing drawings for new orders, I worked on concept designs using molded structural composites and integrated multiple variables to simplify manufacturing drawings. I also prepared bills of materials (BOM) and detailed estimations for individual bodies. I have also collaborated with customers, engineers, and Production people to ensure that the overall design meets the specified criteria.Additionally, I have worked on projects involving the design of overhead cranes & welding fixture concepts. These experiences have provided me with a deep understanding of steel structures, manufacturing feasibility, and the importance of detail-oriented design.Throughout my career, I have utilized various CAD software tools, including SolidWorks, Catia, Solid Edge, UGNX. I am well-versed in relevant codes and standards such as ASME, DIN, ISO & GD&T and have proficient skills in using MS Office tools. Furthermore, I have gained expertise in PLM software, such as Cideon-CAD PLM and AS400.I am a dedicated and motivated professional, constantly seeking opportunities to enhance my skills and contribute to the success of organizations.
