With an education in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and industry experience in IoT, precision farming, remote sensing and crop modeling, he has created user experiences for fortune 500 companies and marginal farmers alike. As an agripreneur, Varun co-founded Hariyalee Seeds, a seed farm to promote biodiversity and save endangered plant species.
