Leveraged Snowflake to extract, transform, and load company financial data, enabling streamlined and insightful data analysis. Successfully connected Power BI to Snowflake and built models and dashboards, ensuring real-time insights. Organized plain text documents with Snowflake certification exam-prep tips and tricks, and converted them into Markdown format using Terminal app and adding Tags and created a searchable Wiki/training for internal use. As part of the internal team building a data solution to import project financial and time entry data from QuickTime. Key tasks included programming scripts to import data from vendor files containing nested/complex datasets into a cloud analytics data warehouse (Snowflake) using Mattilion, Python and SQL. Learnt how to import a single row JSON dataset, exploding to 20,000 rows in multiple data tables. Created basic dashboards using PowerBI Desktop to add visuals sourcing Time Entry data imported previously into Snowflake.
