Design and Realization of a Smart Boom Sprayer – Played a major role from POC for a smart Boom sprayer for spraying pesticides till a fleet of 50 was deployed over 2 calendar years.Season 1 - I was the only Mechanical Engineer to work on the POC for the Smart Sprayer, We took an existing Once the POC was tested and accepted, a fleet of 5 machines were deployed, in which I worked on the design of a 5m long Boom (A Structure to Hold the Camera & Sprayer Nozzles), Design of IP67 rated Enclosure for a Machine Vision Camera with in-built machine vision lighting, Design of IP67 rated Modular & Aesthetic Enclosure for a RTK Receiver, Selection of Solenoids and nozzles for spray application. Season 2 – This season I was involved in the design of a 10m long boom for fleet of 50 machines, a concept for the boom folding, design of the fluid control circuit with an automated pressure regulatory circuit which would control the pressure based on the speed of the vehicle, the design of a camera enclosure which was now integrated with onboard computing with a Nvidia Processor which called for a thermal design and an enclosure for the Display unit with an Nvidia Processor.Design and Realization of a Lettuce Thinner I was the person leading the project from the mechanical front, Developing concepts, mechanisms for ensuring high spray accuracy and design of structures. I have been a major part of this product seeing through 3 revisions and delivering a complete product.

Working as a Design Consultant to developing Models, Design Calculations, GD&T and Mechanical Simulations.

A good hands on experience on Solidworks, GD&T, Tolerance Stacking Up and Machine design. Design, Development, Integration and Testing of a linear actuator for use in military purpose UAVs’. I worked on development of concepts, generating Drawings, design calculations and development of the a testing rigs for the same and also design of planetary gears for rotary actuator. Have led the team as a project manager and have been a part of a complete product life cycle in Design and development of Electromechanical Jacks which is a prototype designed for BEL,India.

Developed concept for Jig-less Assembly and thus eliminating the use of Jigs and Fixtures used in the Assembly process for one of the major assemblies of the Tejas Aircraft. Once the concepts were developed, GD&T and Tolerance Stack Up Analysis was used as a tool to zero down on one concept.
