Co-developed systems & software architecture for the new product family (SLX series) supporting innovative features like programmability, on-device analytics and 3rd party applications.Developed and managed roadmap for implementing industry trends like software defined networking and network function virtualization. Provided technical direction to teams on developing southbound API to support open standards like, openFlow, OpenStack, OpenDaylight and NFV. Created and managed an org-wide innovation program that allowed engineers & PMs to develop prototypes 15% of their time at work.
