Developed an application to integrate ringtones, made available by partners, into the CBS web radio platform. This allowed customers to purchase ringtones for songs they were listening to quickly and easily.Gained valuable experience working within the SCRUM model of software development and working with with partners to take a project from idea to implementation.Technologies used: C#, Visual Studio, SQL Server.

Developed an application that collected and analysed application logs and generated daily reports that summarized errors and found the teams responsible for them. Worked within a team to refactor legacy code that was responsible for managing memory on mobile chipsets. The goal was to enhance modularity of the code and update it to enable compatibility with new features and latest developments in the company. Accomplishing this required fully understanding the existing code, which involved learning several new concepts such as TCP/IP/UDP protocols, socket programming, and low level memory management concepts.Also Learned how to properly write test cases and how to test circuits using the Trace32 in-circuit debugger along with JTAG. Created a script/application which retrieved RSS feeds from partners and incorporated them into Petro Canada's corporate website asynchronously using AJAX. To accomplish this, I researched and learned several early Web 2.0 technologies such as Dynamic HTML, AJAX, XML, JSON, cross-domain scripting, and RSS feeds.During this time, there weren't many Javascript libraries out there and AJAX was relatively new, made popular by it's use in Google Maps. As such, this internship served as a comprehensive and raw introduction to the core of Web 2.0 as it was the first time I heard about the XMLHttpRequest Object and had to write code to manually handle different implementations of AJAX for different browsers.Technologies used: HTML, Javascript, XML, JSON, DHTML, AJAX, C#, ASP.Net, MySQL, cross-domain scripting, CSS, Visual Studio.Net, RedDot CMS, and Dojo.
