As a Product designer on board ,I deployed Signage systems and Wayfinding solutions with the team of architects, graphic designers and design thinker for Business parks, Corporate offices and Malls.Among some of the roles I assumed while on board as a product designer, the following were the most focused upon. Client interaction and project presentations, Concept development and Rapid prototyping .Our team successfully deployed Systems for 4 sites in major business parks in Bangalore, Gurugram, Delhi and Noida during my tenure. The most notable work product I contributed towards was the experience design for interactive directories for way-finding systems.

As an Industrial Design intern, i worked on developing a concept for the future of pressure regulating valves. I also worked towards developing and executing an application( UX and UI ) for monitoring working status of machines and work stations in a factory, remotely.

A 12 week internship at the firm taught me working in a tight team, strict deadlines and because i worked on a client project it was crucial to adhere to dates. As a part of my internship I worked an interior design project where our team designed, made and installed a wall mural.Our theme was Indian culture, and art forms. We worked on the classical dance form Bharatnatyam. Developed a set of 9 tiles representing nine core emotions, which are at the heart of any performance. Used a mixture of abstraction and form development to create a set which can be reproduced for multiple installations.Things like out sourcing, team work, material sourcing, budgeting, and learning to work with new material, were some of the learning outcomes

Egypt

Explore project participantAs the part of Explore Egypt project our team visited various cities, villages and desert settlements in Egypt. Our main agenda was to create content for promotion of tourism Egypt following the events of Tahrir square in 2011. Our project included videography, photography, giving presentations, exploring different places in a non tourist manner, and understanding the culture of Egypt, so that we could promote Egypt's side of story to the world. From cultural integration among our multi-national team, to empathizing with the natives, it was an enriching experience, from all the spot searching, to dives, to climbs and talking and eating with different communities, we learnt a great deal about team work, management, resourcing and survival.
