Afterpay (now a part of Block, Inc.) is a financial technology company, best known for it's buy-now pay-later service. In my role as a Treasury Operations Manager, my primary duties consisted of providing assistance in the development and execution of treasury strategy, ensuring ongoing compliance on the various multi-million-dollar warehouse funding facilities (including daily cash movements and borrowing base calculations, weekly funding activities, and comprehensive monthly servicer reporting requirements), assessing short-term and long-term cash needs across global operations, and maintaining efficient use of external debt.I monitored critical liquidity balances with our in-store card banking partners on a daily basis. I worked closely with the internal systems team to ensure accurate and complete datasets were provided for analysis purposes, and I also assisted our external auditors on the annual audits performed on the warehouse facilities.Some of my key achievements include the operationalising of the company's first New Zealand-based warehouse funding facility, as well as the operationalising of a new US-based warehouse funding facility.

The company specialises in traditional and retrocessional reinsurance, property & casualty, employer liability, professional liability, industry-loss warranty (ILW) and insurance-linked securities (ILS) solutions. My primary responsibilities as a Senior Analyst in Treasury and Finance included preparing monthly and full year cash flow forecasts, assessing working capital and liquidity needs across several currencies, bank reconciliation analysis with particular focus on protected client money held under FCA regulation, monthly and quarterly reporting of treasury results including contribution to board packs/presentations, compiling cash metrics/indicators, and liaising with global banking partners on mandates, online platforms and KYC/AML due diligence.

SABMiller produced well known global beers such as Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Pilsner Urquell and Miller Genuine Draft. As a Treasury Accountant in the Efficiency and Optimisation team, my duties included hedge accounting, intercompany loan reconciliation, providing support to the regional treasury centres around the world, and preparing financial instruments / treasury-related disclosures for statutory reporting purposes under UK GAAP.One of my key achievements in this role was the design of an automated bank reconciliation exception report in IT2, which resulted in a far more efficient bank reconciliation process with stronger internal controls in place as well as improved data quality.

Cardno (part of the Stantec Group) is a global engineering, infrastructure, environmental and social development company operating in more than 100 countries, and is listed on the Australian stock exchange.In my capacity as Group Treasury Analyst, my primary duties involved FX trading, reviewing on- and off-balance sheet debt, ensuring financial compliance (loan covenants, ISDA, Dodd Frank), repatriation of surplus cash from both domestic and foreign operations, consolidation of global cashflow forecasts and associated commentary on the Asia Pacific region.My key achievements include the development and global roll-out of a short term cashflow forecast model to track cash movements by geographical region and currency. I also assisted with the raising of a US Private Placement bond and the associated due diligence process required by investors.

The Holcim Group has a presence in over 70 countries and is listed on the Euronext, the Swiss stock exchange, and the Philippines stock exchange.I was a Treasury Accountant for the Australian subsidiary of the business and my responsibilities included maintenance of an 18-month rolling cashflow forecast, providing a regular variance analysis commentary on cash movements to senior management, reviewing working capital requirements across several currencies, FX trading, integration of multi-banking technology on the SWIFT network and maintenance of signatories across banking and loan facilities.One of my key achievements was a brief secondment as a project manager. I was responsible for the transition of travel expense credit cards from one provider to another. I worked with the Procurement team on the tender process, and with the IT team on migration between softwares.

One of my key achievements was assisting with the implementation of a major SAP systems upgrade by testing the functionality of treasury processes.
