This internship exposed me to various cases related to Criminal Law under the guidance of Mr. Man Mohan Goel and his associates. My internship allowed me to work upon the various Criminal Law Cases which Mr.Goel had. I wrote arguments for our clients apart from just doing the basic drafting. Over the course of this internship. They helped me understand the basic drill which a lawyer has to undertake while working in a Court. I understood the functioning of Notary, how a petition is submitted and what all requirements are there in doing all the ground work before actually going inside the Courtroom and representing your client. Also, I got familiar with the mediation process and how it is done as Mr. Man Mohan Goel is a Mediator in Rohini Court itself.

This internship was under Mr. Sunil Malhotra and it basically aimed at the study of Criminal Law in an extensive manner. Constant use of different bare acts like Criminal Procedure Code, Law of Evidence and Indian Penal Code made the understanding very simple and basic. Apart from that my task was to visit different Courts, briefing of different cases in hand to Mr.Malhotra and preparation of case notes. The Cases were mostly related to Rapes, Murders, Dowry Deaths etc. Mr.Malhotra made it a point to take a quick round of quiz related to different topics ( all within the ambit of Criminal Law) everyday to nurture our skills in this very field.Researched on topics related to Companies Act, Civil Procedure Code.

This was my first internship as a law student under Mr. Man Mohan Goel. I assisted in cases mostly related to family and property disputes.I was given drafting work where I drafted several Divorce Petitions, Legal Notices, Claim Petition etc.
