• Preparation and review of VAT return for GCC region.• Assisting in preparing client specific documents process manuals and SOP documentations• Transitioning compliance work from onshore team to offshore team.• Transfer technical and professional knowledge to others through formal and on the job training• Working with the client’s VAT team for gathering all the information and maintaining a issue log.• Self-updating with the new changes in the legislation which impact VAT compliance

• Preparation and submission of indirect tax returns(including Annual/periodic VAT returns, SAF-T returns,Intrastat and European/local sales and purchases listings)• Treatment analysis of transactions for VAT reportingpurposes(imports, EU acquisitions, domestic, crossborderand international sales)• SAP, General Ledgers, Trial Balance and Profit & Lossreconciliations• Sample invoices auditing for compliance with regionalinvoicing requirements in European Union member states• Submission and tracking of payment/refund requests withthe tax authorities• Undertaking tax authorities queries and assistance withVAT audits• Co-ordinate with seniors and managers of respectiveclients regarding preparation of VAT returns,European/local sales and purchase lists and Intrastatreturns for the EU countries.• Constant interaction with clients regarding data requiredfor preparation for various returns and following up forapprovals.

• Research miscellaneous items and identify appropriatelybased on research performed. perform manual matches,escalate discrepancies, all within established guidelines,corporate policies and standards• Refer problem or Identify issues on assigned accountsand escalate occurrences to team leader or supervisor• Assist in data collection / report preparation on variousmetrics• Ensure adherence to Corporate Accounting anddepartmental policies and procedures.• Responsible for routine decisions and determination ofcourse of action
