Heading the Supply Chain & Procurement function for India's 3rd largest Alco-beverages Manufacturing Company. Managing a cost base > Rs 2500 Cr and complex supply network of 30 manufacturing locations.My role primarily focuses on• Responsible for integrated supply chain -Demand and Supply Planning, Procurement, Distribution/Logistics and Inventory Management.• Develop and manage sourcing strategies of RM and PM and annual budgeting for the same. • Manage strategic supplier / logistics partner, enable supplier performance, cost optimization ensuring business continuity for critical materials/suppliers.• Manage multiple process and cost improvement projects in a dynamic environment. Handle all NPD products launches, product formulation and packaging innovations.• Manage and nurture talent for succession planning and support and sustain a positive work environment that fosters team performance with strong communication and relationship management skills

• Controlling supply chain and liaising with a various parties, including suppliers of raw materials, packing material, bottles, manufacturers, dealers and, increasingly, consumers. • Handling procurement & supply chain of 55 manufacturing units. • Procurement of Packaging Material/ Raw Material(Major PM/RM Like Labels, Caps, Cartons Boxes, Mono Cartons, Glass & PET Bottles, ENA, Malt, Rice and other consumables).• Formulate strategies and plan enabling placement of RM & PM at site to avoid any production loss.• Strategic procurement & risk management analysis to ensure input material supplies.• New vendor development to reduce procurement cost and driving sustainability in the supply chain through developing supplier capability and reliability.• Negotiating & finalizing rates for RM/PM & preparing long term agreements.• Conceptualising & preparing budgets for procurement of Raw, Packaging Material and Transportation.• Monitoring & price variance analysing against budget and ensure all purchase costs within budget.• Negotiating & finalizing rates for RM/PM & preparing long term agreements.• Development of new product packaging in coordination with Marketing and availability of PM for timely launch of new products• Negotiating & finalizing transporters for the transportation of finished goods & raw materials.• Cost reduction by innovative procurement, value re-engineering and developing new vendors.• Ensuring the implementation of SOP’s. & dealing with internal as well as external auditors.
